“Westlake Ace Hardware, and more recently Ace Retail Holdings, has proudly called the greater Kansas City area home since opening our first store here in 1975 and the original Store Support Center in 2004,” said Joe Jeffries, president and chief executive officer of Ace Retail Holdings. “It’s exciting to expand and reinforce our commitment to the Kansas City area as an employer and neighbor.”

Jeffries added, “Relocating to a larger, more versatile, and vibrant space helps support the tremendous growth Ace Retail Holdings has experienced in recent years. The Executive Hills location is ideal because it’s very accessible for the majority of our associates, many of whom live in Johnson County, and it will include amenities that will foster team building and collaboration. We are looking forward to the move.”

"We are pleased to welcome Ace Retail Holdings and Westlake Ace Hardware to Overland Park,” said Curt Skoog, mayor of Overland Park, Kan. “Westlake Ace stores have served Overland Park neighborhoods for many years, delivering reliable products and expert advice to the community. This is a win for Ace Retail Holdings and Overland Park, bringing valuable jobs to our city and further solidifying Overland Park as a premier executive office destination.”

John Cruz, chief executive officer of Executive Hills Management, added, “We are honored and excited that Ace Retail Holdings chose to relocate to Executive Hills. This property will offer many advantages, including more collaborative workspaces, modern amenities, and updated technologies. The fresh and vibrant new work environment will greatly benefit the company as it recruits talent, grows, and prospers.”

Westlake Ace Hardware currently owns and operates 30 stores in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area, with new locations planned for Shawnee, Kan., and Grain Valley, Mo., within the coming 12-14 months.
